Dr. Quinton Yau

Dr. Quinton Yau was inspired to delve into the world of optometry by his own childhood optometrist. At those visits, he realized that optometry was an intersection between his interests in technology and healthcare. During his optometry education, Dr. Yau was part of student groups like the Canadian Association of Optometry Students and volunteered in an optometric humanitarian trip to rural Mexico. Dr. Yau is always eager to learn more about his patients and help them achieve their eye care goals.  Excited to provide comprehensive eye care, Dr. Quinton Yau is passionate to serve his community. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, ultimate frisbee, and rollerblading.

• Volunteered on an optometric mission trip to Tepehuanes, Mexico with ICARE International to provide eye care to rural areas with low access to healthcare
• Completed an ocular disease externship in Brantford, Ontario managing cataracts, advanced macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and retinal disease
