Routine eye exams can detect vision problems, eye disease and general health problems before you're aware a problem exists. Detecting eye health problems is the most important aspect of an eye exam.
Our optometrists (OD) thoroughly check all our patients for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal holes, macular degeneration, and general health problems, which may have ocular indications, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. As a highly trained health professional, our optometrist will provide a detailed evaluation of your vision and eye health.
We do children eye examinations starting at 6-12 months old. We also recommend children at the age of 3 to begin getting their eyes checked annually. Providing visual assessments for infants can determine how well they can see, if the eyes are equal in power, the development of their eyes, and any signs of potential eye diseases.
